COVID has impacted the lives of everyone on this planet. There are millions of people globally who continue to struggle with the impact of COVID long after the initial infection.

“Long COVID” is a multi-organ condition that affects 1 in 3 individuals who contract COVID-19. More than 200 severe symptoms have been identified including cardiovascular difficulties, bone-crushing fatigue, pain, internal tremors, tinnitus, rashes, brain fog, and many more.

Relational Space has brought together 6 artists and 6 scientists to co-curate an online exhibition…

About the Project

You Are Not Alone

Long COVID is an isolating and frightening experience, made worse by a paucity of information and medical resources. It helps to know that you are not alone. Listen to these clips from exhibition participants.

“I think one of the challenges has been that I look well like many long haulers do. And so when I see people on the street and they come up to me and they say you look great you must be all better. It’s hard for me to convey how my day really is and the restrictions and alterations to my life that I had to make to be able to get outside for about 20 minutes or half hour.”

“The beginning of my COVID journey was the beginning of COVID in the United States. I became sick on March, 23rd 2020, and was more sick and differently sick than I’ve ever been in my life. I never saw doctor and I never got a diagnosis. My life would be very different right now if I has seen a doctor. But if I had more information and I had doctor’s care I probably would have also had a different experience.”
